Las Caletas is a small village at the edge of Corcovado National Park — the place National Geographic called "the most biologically intense place on Earth." You arrive by boat.

It is the beginning of the journey. The moment the boat leaves Sierpe and enters the Pacific, most guests feel something shift. Remoteness is the first medicine.

The journey is the beginning of the detox. Every route starts in San José.

The Adventure Route

Bus from Tracopa terminal, San José to Sierpe → boat Sierpe to Las Caletas. Passes through the Osa Peninsula countryside. You will see crocodiles in the Sierpe River mangrove on the boat.

The Fast Route

Domestic flight from San José to Drake Bay (Sansa Air or Nature Air, ~45 min) → short taxi boat to Las Caletas (~20 min). We'll connect you with the driver.

Private Driver

Door-to-door from San José or the airport, directly to Sierpe. Air-conditioned vehicle, luggage handled. We can arrange the contact for you. Then the 1.5hr boat to Las Caletas.

Rental Car

Self-drive from San José to Sierpe — best if exploring Costa Rica before or after. Book a good 4x4 only. You can drive all the way to Las Caletas. Check road conditions with us during rainy season.
