Las Caletas is remote, but accessible

The journey is the beginning of the detox. Every route starts in San José.

The Adventure Route
Bus from Tracopa terminal, San José to Sierpe → boat Sierpe to Las Caletas. Passes through the Osa Peninsula countryside. You will see crocodiles in the Sierpe River mangrove on the boat.

Domestic flight from San José to Drake Bay (Sansa Air or Nature Air, ~45 min) → short taxi boat to Las Caletas (~20 min). We'll connect you with the driver.

Door-to-door from San José or the airport, directly to Sierpe. Air-conditioned vehicle, luggage handled. We can arrange the contact for you. Then the 1.5hr boat to Las Caletas.

Do you take my phone away? +

Yes — and that's the point. Your phone is collected at arrival and stored safely. You can still access it as needed of course. We just don’t keep it in your sight to prevent temptation.

What's included in the price? +

Everything that matters: private room, private bathroom, 3 meals per day cooked by local families, and access to all property grounds and jungle trails.

Optional daily beach training sessions ($50/day) and personal coaching sessions ($50/day) are available and highly recommended to enhance your experience.

A full 7-day retreat with everything included starts at $1,150.

How do I get to Las Caletas? +

Las Caletas is remote but accessible. The most popular route is the bus from San José to Sierpe ($25) + a boat to Las Caletas ($25) = $50 total.

A fast option is a 45-min domestic flight to Drake Bay then a short taxi boat. We provide a full step-by-step travel guide when you book.

Is this a luxury retreat? +

No — and deliberately so. Simple rooms, natural ventilation (all fan equiped), family cooking. The luxury here is the environment: Corcovado National Park, the Pacific Ocean, and no phone.

Our prices reflect our costs: local families, no hotel overhead. $85/night all-inclusive is the real price.

Yes. You just won’t need it.
